About us
Who we are
Tabernacle of Faith Missionary Baptist Church was founded on January 2, 1970, by a faithful group of believers who desired a greater place of worship and a deeper move of God. What began as a vision birthed in faith has grown into a strong and enduring ministry grounded in prayer, service, and unwavering trust in God.
Under the leadership of the late Rev. T. R. Provost, and guided by the Holy Spirit, the church was established on a firm spiritual foundation—committed to preaching the Gospel, uniting believers, and serving the community with love.
Our History & Journey of Faith
The early beginnings of Tabernacle of Faith took root at Macedonia Baptist Church, where God began shaping a ministry that would expand beyond its original walls. Through various locations, seasons of transition, and moments of growth, God remained faithful—sending spirit-filled leaders to shepherd His people with wisdom and strength.

Our Mission
To glorify God by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, nurturing spiritual growth, and serving our community with love, integrity, and faith.
What We Believe
We believe in one true God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of heaven and earth and is sovereign, loving, and faithful.
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and willingly gave His life on the cross for the redemption of humanity. He rose bodily from the dead and now reigns at the right hand of the Father.
We believe salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone—not by works. All who repent of their sins and accept Christ as Lord and Savior are born again and receive eternal life.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who dwells within believers, empowers them for holy living and service, convicts of sin, provides spiritual gifts, and guides the church in truth.
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers, called to worship God, preach the Gospel, disciple believers, and serve the world in love, unity, and compassion.
We believe in water baptism by immersion as a public testimony of faith in Jesus Christ, symbolizing death to sin and resurrection to new life.
We believe the Lord’s Supper (Communion) is a sacred ordinance instituted by Christ, to be observed in remembrance of His sacrifice until He returns.
We believe in the power of prayer as essential to spiritual growth, guidance, healing, and maintaining a close relationship with God.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, eternal life for believers, and the fulfillment of God’s promises according to His Word.
We believe all things exist for the glory of God, and we strive to honor Him in worship, service, and daily living.
